Weight Management
We make it simple.
Semaglutide & other GLP-1 medications are medically prescribed weight loss solutions that suppresses the appetite with a weekly injection. You can give yourself injections at home or come to our office for your injection. The medication imitates the metabolic hormones produced naturally by the gut, pancreas, and nervous system to increase insulin secretion, blood sugar levels and overall glycemic control.
By doing this, the treatment slows down digestion, slowing the frequency of gastric emptying, so that you feel fuller longer. It also targets the reward mechanism within your brain to better regulate food intake - so each day you will eat fewer calories but still feel satisfied.
Each injection works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help suppress appetite and proactively decrease weight for an average of 2-8 pounds lost per week. For adults looking for a gradual weight loss management system that is safe, our programs are a perfect solution that only needs to be administered once a week, at any time.
Come to our office located in the Short North in Columbus, Ohio and meet our kind and personable staff. They will get to know you, your specific needs and desired outcomes. They’ll coach you along your journey to finding your best self. Read on for more information.

GLP-1 (glucagon-like 1 receptor agonist) medications such as semaglutide or trizepatide are weekly injections used to help control blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes, but are also proven to help people lose weight safely and effectively. GLP medications may contribute to 20% of total body weight loss, or more!

GLP-1 receptor agonists such as semaglutide are FDA-approved medications for treatment of diabetes are also used as a treatment for weight loss/weight management. These prescription medications are intended to be used long term to help stabilize or lower blood sugar levels as well as cause weight loss. The medications work by slowing the mobility of your gastrointestinal system and also stimulate the pancreas to produce more insulin, therefore lowering the blood sugar after meals. GLP-1 medications slow down the release of sugar in your bloodstream, so your body burns more fat. They also delay stomach emptying, leaving you feeling fuller longer and limiting your overall calorie consumption.

Please schedule your initial consultation online or by calling our office. During the initial consultation, your medical provider will evaluate your history, prior treatments, and complete a thorough assessment. We will discuss laboratory results, diet plans, exercise plans, desired goal weight, and appropriate treatment options to ensure you are getting safe and comprehensive care.
If it is determined that GLP-1 medications are the best fit for you, the treatment plan will include how often you will need to get repeat laboratory work and follow up with our office. You will be able to pick up the medication and supplies at our office each month.

It’s crucial to know that GLP-1 medication may not cause weight loss immediately for some people. Most people will see the most drastic decrease in weight between three and six months after starting treatment. Having realistic expectations and attending all your treatment sessions will increase your chances of satisfactory results. Men and women who eat well, exercise, and stick to their treatment plans see the best transformation.
One way to stay motivated and observe your progress is by taking before and after photos. At each visit, we will be able to track how your body is responding to the treatment. Semaglutide other GLP1 medications are promising options for those looking to lose weight and feel better overall. Its ability to suppress appetite, reduce cravings, and increase fullness can lead to faster weight loss. Those with Type-2 diabetes especially benefit from an extra perk—improved blood sugar control.

Semaglutide and other GLP-1 medications are injected just under the skin (subcutaneously), typically in your abdomen, thigh, or arm.
